DESCRIPTION
KetaSpire® PEEK:
KetaSpire® PEEK (polyetheretherketone) offers the best combination of fatigue resistance and chemical resistance. PEEK chemical resistance is similar to that of PPS (polyphenylene sulfide). However, PEEK can operate at higher temperatures and retains its excellent mechanical properties at continuous-use temperatures up to 240 °C (464 °F), allowing it to replace metal in severe end-use environments. Glass fiber-reinforced and carbon-fiber-reinforced grades, as well as specialty grades, provide a wide range of performance options.

KetaSpire® polyetheretherketone (PEEK) offers a combination of superlative properties that allow it to effectively replace metal in some of the most severe end-use environments.
The structure of the PEEK molecule results in a valuable collection of high-performance characteristics. Aryl groups provide  modulus, thermal stability, and flame retardance. Ether linkages provide toughness, ductility, and melt processability. Ketones provide long term thermal-oxidative resistance and polarity for a high melting temperature

KetaSpire® KT-880 NL is a high flow grade of unreinforced polyetheretherketone (PEEK) supplied in non-lubricated, natural-color pellet form. KetaSpire® PEEK is produced to the highest industry standards and is characterized by a distinct combination of properties, which include excellent wear resistance, best-in-class fatigue resistance, ease of melt processing, high purity and excellent chemical resistance to organics, acids and bases.

These properties make it well-suited for applications in healthcare, transportation, electronics, chemical processing and other industrial uses. KetaSpire® KT-880 NL can be easily processed using typical injection molding processes. This resin is also available as KT-880P in a natural-color coarse powder form for compounding.

A lubricated form of the resin is available as KT-880 in either natural (NT) or black (BK 95). The lubricated version is lightly dusted with calcium stearate (0.1% level) to aid with pellet conveyance in plastication screws.
